Dreams for Women was selected as part of September’s featured stories over at the IMOW‘s online exhibition Women, Power, and Politics. The focus for September is on women and voting and one of the questions explored is whether or not all women want the same things and/or vote the same way on issues. Also featured is an exclusive with journalist and author Melinda Henneberger, who writes on women’s voting trends in the US, and who thought that our postcard piece would be a great art-centric compliment to the discussion!

We’re so excited and humbled to receive positive public recognition, but most of all we’d like to thank everyone who made (and is making) it possible: our postcard creators, loyal subscribers and blog readers, and Renee Gasch over at IMOW.

Keep those postcards coming and have an awesome day :)

Women, Power and Politics

The untold stories of women claiming and exercising their power around the world and throughout history come alive in I.M.O.W.’s global online exhibition Women, Power and Politics.

From March 8 to December 31, 2008, Women, Power and Politics is available to audiences worldwide in Arabic, English, French and Spanish. We focus on one provocative new topic each month and ask the questions no one is asking. Like never before, women and men are focusing on issues of substance concerning women’s political participation. Visit the Women, Power and Politics exhibition to learn, speak and act to transform our world.
