A Women’s and Gender Studies Careers Panel WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17TH FROM 4 TO 6 PM CENTRE FOR WOMEN’S AND GENDER STUDIES, 1896 EAST MALL, UBC

Join us for an informative session about feminist, anti-racist education at the University of British Columbia.

A range of panellists, all with Undergraduate degrees in Women and Gender Studies, will offer their perspectives on professional goals and career options. The panel will conclude with an open forum for questions. All are welcome!

** PANELLISTS:

Bernice Urbaniak is the Administrative Manager of the School of Human Kinetics and President of the Association of Administrative and Professional staff at UBC.

Dr. Thea Cacchioni went onto graduate school in Britain and is now a sessional lecturer in the Women’s and Gender Studies Undergraduate program and is doing contract research work.

Ros Salvador is from the BC Public Interest Advocacy Centre. She is a lawyer who is particularly involved with anti-poverty work and poverty law in BC.
